I am not the sort of person who hires interior designers. But I was moving across the country after 20 years of city life and knew I couldn't do it myself. My new home is full of beams and sloping ceilings, so needed thinking through, plus I have no eye whatsoever. I spent time looking at different companies and went with Kerv as they looked normal (but super stylish!) and offered project management, which I needed as I couldn't be there to coordinate work. I am so, so glad I went for Kerv. From the initial vision to it being finalised, Emily and Victoria were superb. Gave me options where something wasn't quite right, identified items I would NEVER have found alone, plus I think I actually saved money through their trade discounts and project management (meaning I didn't need to keep trailing across the country). The brief was to create a multipurpose room that acted as an office and a 2nd bedroom. We were not afraid of colour and wanted the room to have a wow factor. Kerv produced detailed plans and a shopping list after consultation on our preferences. The layout and colour schemes suggested were amazing and is not something we would have been able to come up with. This in itself justified the use of an interior design service. We are so happy with the finished room and looks exactly like the initial drawings that were produced. Visitors to our house cannot stop complementing the finished result. I recently asked Kerv to help modernise an open plan space, which has 3 areas with different uses. The results were perfect and all by E-Design! Emily and Victoria are so talented at bringing together my not so creative vision into something that looks amazing. All within budget and sourcing products from websites I would never have found on my own. We found Kerv through the Houzz website. Emily and Victoria from Kerv designed our new kitchen diner and snug. The project involved knocking through between kitchen and dining room, new bifold doors, new kitchen and utility room, new flooring throughout ground floor, and all interior design. Kerv were prompt and professional throughout, always happy to incorporate our ideas and answer any queries. After an initial visit to discuss our requirements they produced a wonderful presentation with links to all merchandise and including different options., depending on our budget and preferences. They introduced us to building contractors and a kitchen designer. All their contacts were excellent, and workmanship was to a very high standard.
